Therapist Options

At The EFT Clinic we have a group of highly trained licensed therapists. We are also a training site for newly licensed therapists and university interns. Because of the variety of therapists at The EFT Clinic, we are able to offer a wide variety of options when choosing the therapist that is right for you. 

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), and Certified Mental Health Counselors (CMHC) are highly trained and qualified clinicians with many years of experience in couples, family and individual treatments. In addition, our fully licensed therapists have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, EMDR and other research-based models of therapy.

Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (LAMFT), Clinical Social Workers (CSW) and Associate Mental Health Counselors (AMHC) are highly qualified licensed therapists who have completed a post-graduate masters degree program in psychotherapy and have provided treatment to clients for over a year. These therapists met all the qualifications to be a licensed therapist and are accruing post-graduate clinical hours. They work in conjunction with one of our experienced supervisors. Working with one of our highly qualified associate level therapists may be a perfect fit for you or a loved one.

Marriage and Family Therapy Interns (MFTI), Clinical Social Work Interns (CSWI) and Mental Health Counseling Interns (MHCI) are second-year graduate students in an accredited masters degree program. Our exceptional interns complete a one-year internship at The EFT Clinic under the supervision of our highly skilled, licensed therapists. Working with one of our interns may be the perfect fit for you or your family member.

Billing Information

Payment is due in full at the time of service. We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as Flex Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards. Some therapists are also able to accept bishop/clergy pay.

The EFT Clinic is considered to be out-of-network by most insurance providers. Therefore, we do not bill insurance companies. We can, however, provide documentation for clients to send to their insurance company to seek reimbursement for services. We cannot guarantee that any insurance company will honor reimbursement requests. Please contact your insurance company first, for more information on what out-of-network reimbursement services are covered under your policy.

The EFT Clinic was founded and developed by Dr. Debi Gilmore and Dr. Christine Holding, who shared the dream of a world class training clinic for therapists, with a focus on building and healing safe and secure attachment.

After five successful years with extensive growth in Salt Lake and Utah Counties, and each building an incredible team of skilled clinicians, Dr. Debi Gilmore has now also taken her expertise and passion to the Southern Utah region.

The EFT Counseling and Education Center has a team of outstanding therapists skilled in working with couples, families, and individuals. They also offer EFT training and certification preparation, skill-building clinical trainings, as well as supervision and mentoring for therapists regardless of licensure.
