Stephen Glain, LAMFT, MPA

Stephen is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who helps individuals, couples, and families overcome obstacles in their personal lives and relationships. He believes in the importance of hearing and understanding each individual’s story and helping clients create a new and improved life story. Stephen has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, intergenerational therapy, pre-marital therapy, and is receiving training in Emotionally Focused Therapy. Stephen believes that people are incredibly resilient and that everyone has the potential to heal, learn, grow, and become healthier and happier, even while facing difficult challenges in their lives.

Stephen also holds a master’s degree in public administration (MPA), with many years’ experience finding creative solutions to complex problems in local government. He is also a Utah Court Roster Mediator and has successfully mediated agreements in Justice Court cases, small business disputes, landlord-tenant issues, divorce and parenting schedules, and parent-teen agreements in schools and youth detention centers.

 Stephen enjoys helping clients to not only endure their life challenges, but to learn from those challenges and create a life that is happier and more meaningful. He also speaks Spanish.
