Michelle Pomeroy, MFTI

Michelle seeks to understand her clients. Her approach is authentic and real. She believes the knowledge that you are loveable just as you are provides you the best opportunity to grow into the healthiest version of yourself. Michelle strives to create a safe, non-judgmental place for individuals, couples, and families to learn about themselves and work through difficult challenges. She is committed to facilitating change and growth in her clients. She has received extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and is currently working toward certification in EFT. Michelle uses EFT to help couples and families break negative patterns and develop lasting closeness. Michelle is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an effective intervention for mild to severe trauma. Michelle utilizes EMDR to help individuals who feel stuck in past distress. She has received advanced training in betrayal trauma. Michelle enjoys teaching couples’ workshops, facilitating support groups, and teaching courses on addiction, marriage, and parenting.
