Kymberly Olds, LAMFT

Kymberly specializes in working with individuals, couples and families who may be struggling in their personal relationships with a number of issues including: trauma, ineffective communication styles, affairs, parenting differences and/or challenges, intimacy concerns and attachment injuries; all of which can create conflict with the person we love the most in this world. Kymberly also specializes in trauma, whether it comes in the forms of “T” or “t,” acute or chronic, simple or complex. She understands that trauma, seemingly unrelated to a relationship, can still have an incredible and sometimes very painful impact on their current relationship. By clearing trauma, using a proven, effective method called EMDR, she has found that her couples work becomes much more effective and productive. Kymberly works with heterosexual couples, same sex couples, and couples in ethical non-monogamous relationships. She utilizes proven methods for helping couples and families navigate the sometimes-murky waters of life transitions that may feel difficult to navigate alone. Kymberly’s goal is to help individual’s clear trauma, help couples learn a different way of experiencing each other (communicating) and a different way of sharing vulnerabilities with each other. Being vulnerable with the one we love can feel scary at times. However, it is through the ability to be vulnerable that emotional safety is created. Emotional safety leads to deeper connection, which is a UNIVERSAL NEED and what all human beings crave. Kymberly would love to be a part of your healing journey, no matter how you may have come to your present difficulties.
