Dr. Christine Holding, LMFT, CEFT

Dr. Christine Holding is a licensed psychotherapist and relationship expert who specializes in helping couples build loving and secure relationships. She is the co-owner of The EFT Clinic for Couples and Families and the owner of Sunlight Family Therapy located in Millcreek, UT. She was honored in 2018 to receive The Best of Salt Lake City Award for marriage and family therapy. Christine is a nationally approved supervisor by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and an internationally certified supervisor for Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the most effective research-based couples therapy available today. She advanced training in crisis response and in the treatment of trauma survivors.  Christine loves teaching and training professionals, students, and the public about the universal need for love and connection.

In addition to her private practice, Christine serves on the board of directors of the Northern Utah EFT Community for Psychotherapists, has served on several non-profit boards including the Family Counseling Center of Utah, the Association of Mormon Counselors and Psychotherapists, and advisory boards at Brigham Young University and Stanford University.  She is the author of Family Business Therapy: A Field Guide for Family Therapists and in addition to her clinical practice, Christine works as an advisor to family owned businesses to heal family attachment injuries.

Christine started her career as a human resource manager and corporate trainer for Host Marriott and Little America Hotel Company. She danced her way through college with the Brigham Young University World Dancers and has performed for audiences around the globe. She was honored to be a member of the choreography team for the 2002 Winter Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies and taught dance to disadvantaged children through the Ballet West Educational Outreach Program. Her greatest joy is spending time with her husband and children in the mountains and canyons of Montana, Wyoming, and Utah.
